Welcome to Valley Community Rollers (VCR)!

Valley Community Rollers is a community-based roller derby league located in the northeast San Fernando Valley, California. Established in July 2021, VCR was born from the desire to create a welcoming space for people to learn how to roller skate, explore the sport of roller derby, and build meaningful connections within the community.

Our Philosophy

At VCR, we believe roller skating and roller derby should be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or income. To make this vision a reality, we operate as a "no-pay-to-play" league. Instead, we encourage contributions through a suggested sliding scale, ensuring that no one is turned away due to financial barriers.
